She sighs again and tries not to fidget like she so often does when she's nervous. She nods in answer to his question.

"You've worked hard to leave all that behind you," she replies. "You've changed despite everyone's thinking you couldn't, or wouldn't. And I've see you change. So, yeah, it wasn't exactly well done of me to doubt that."

She hopes that's the answer he's looking for because it's the only one she can come up with at the moment. It takes her a minute to realize the last time she was this nervous was the day she married Arthur.
