It's one of me that's actually "normal," and it matches m'header. I guess I'm a bit anal picky about stuff that matches. Matching socks, matching towels, and so on. There's something to be said for having a bit of order in a chaotic life.


2-What's your current relationship status?
Unattached at the moment. I've had a few husbands, but they're all dead now.

Quite a few actually. Seeing as I can't die...

An obvious quality, hmm? I guess I'd have to say strength, and not just physical strength either, although I could probably kick your ass.

T'be bluntly honest, I don't find all that many celebs all that attractive. Gimme a guy man who's equal parts brain & brawn an' we'll talk.

I get comments about Uma Thurman or Sharon Stone a lot, but I think I look like m'self.

Actually, yeah, I have a watch. Regular wristwatches get the shite beat out of 'em on a site, so I bought m'self a real nice pocket watch that can take a beating.

Just the normal hole in each earlobe.

I have a 1" Fehu rune on the inside of my left wrist. It's the rune for Freyja/Freyr in the old Norse.

That's a really pointless question. Who th'hell likes pain? I've been through it enough in m'life, both physical and emotional, I don't need any more of it, thanks.


13-Do you like to shop?
I'm really not that big on it, unless it's something I need like food or clothes. I never have been much on th'whole "mall" phenomenon. Although, I do have t'admit I like getting "dolled up" every now an' again.


14-What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
*laughs* M'dinner. I'm a fair cook, mind. A woman's gotta eat, righ? But there are times when I jes don't feel like foolin with th'stove, dishes, cleanin up an' all that mess. So, I can be a lazy arse sometimes. Shoot me. Ain't like it's gonna kill me.


15-What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card?
A new pair of jeans. I swear, next to sliced bread, jeans are the best inventions ever, cept when they get a hole in the arse after slidin over a few rocks.

Michael, m'best mate. He checks in every now an again jes t'make sure I'm alive. He's a good egg, that one.

Don' have anythin' against 'em. Been a redhead m'self a few times. It's alrigh' I guess.

No' at th'moment, but I've known a few sets o'twins in m'life.

Seeing as they're all dead, I guess I can talk about them without too much drama. I guess we were all weird in our own ways. M'gran was a keen gossip, always knew who was goin round with whom. M'cousin, Eiríkr, was a real prankster. He'd set snares in the forest and though it was a great gag when someone went up into th'branches by their ankles.

Truth t'tell, Beowulf & Grendel". I'm an archaeologist an' a history nut, 'sides, the bloke playin Beowulf iddn't half bad lookin. *rolls eyes* Apparently, m'mun's quite a fan of... what's his name? ... oh, yeh.... Gerard Butler.

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. Righ, so I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic.


24-Is there such a thing as love at first sight, or it is more likely to be "lust at first sight"?
There's definitely "admiration" at first sight. But when it comes righ down to it, I'd lean more toward the "lust" side.


25-What's your favorite book?
One of m'favourites is Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, written in the original English o'course. It's jes fascinatin t'me t'see how much English has changed, an yet, how many words still have the same meanin t'day.


26-When was the last time you visited the street where you first lived?
That implies I lived on a street. It's been a long time since I went back t'Norway. Haven' had much reason to. M'family's all gone an' that part of m'life's pretty well over.

Haven' had to. Mike's always lettin' me know what's what.

I never went t'school. I always managed t'learn things on m'own, wit' th'help of a few Teachers o'course. But if I started takin classes now, I guess I'd be likely t'take history.

I've always been rubbish at figures an' addin'. So, yeh, whatchacallit mathematics wasn' somethin' I liked.

I'm no "camera hog" bu' I don' mind it. There's always someone at Skara Brae takin pictures prolly to show their friends when they get home, "an' that's the tour guide" and all tha'.

Seein as we didn' have clocks back then, I have no bloody clue.

A few times here an' there. Mostly righ' about th'time I go off the deep end about somthin.

If'n I'm drunk enough, maybe. But I'd have t'be pretty damn drunk first. Then I'd prolly end up fallin flat on m'arse.

Many times. Deer, rabbit, fish. Know how t'skin, dress an' even tan the hides if needbe.

A few days. Wasn' sure how I'd like bein back at Skara Brae, but it's great bein s'close t'th'sea now. I love watchin the seals first thing.

Bein eaten by somethin, bear or whathaveye. Just th'thought of somethin' knawin on m'bones just gives me th'absolute creeps.

Oh, yeah, an' not like this is gonna bloody well happen, but commin unlatched from the Space Shuttle.

The works: Eggs, bacon, toast, black pudding, sausages, beans, smoked herring, fried potatoes, maybe some oatmeal or somethin.

Sittin in front of a computer, wise arse. Which happens t'be on m'kitchen table. Haven' yet turned one of the spare rooms into a proper office. Tha's another thing on m'to-do list.

Seems an interestin' way to pass th'time, get t'know a few folks, have a few laughs.

Am I Dead Yet? When I start writin it, I'll let y'know.

I think the longest I've been in any country was France for most of the Middle Ages too damn long.

Most of th'time I use AOL. I like textin' an' all, but I'm just not much for AOL.

Don' know what y'mean by "frequently," but yeh, once every cuppla nights. Never remember what they're about though.

At the moment, hell yeah. I'm a great one t'be 'round. Ask me tha about Elsa or Ellen an' I'd probably say no.
