Hi there, just been taking a look at Quinn and Cassandra has spoken up.

Needless to say this is completely up to you, but I noticed you had Quinn's teacher as 'unknown' - if you're interested Cass could have been her teacher, as back then she would definintely have been full-on in revenge mode, and looking to train others for her fight to take down the Horsemen. So it sort of fits with how Quinn has developed from what I can see.

Again, up to you, and I won't mind if you'd rather not - but if you'd like to have these two know each other, and have it that Cass was her teacher, Cass and I would be happy to play it that way too. :)

To be perfectly honest, I don't know much about the Highlander canon. Hsu's mun has been giving me some pointers here & there. I know practically nothing about the Horsemen. My only thing with Cass being her Teacher is the timing. Quinn became an Immortal probably around 50AD in Norway, so I'm not sure how that lines up with Hsu's timeline. There's a definite storyline going around my head about Quinn & Hsu having a past, but I need to run that by his mun first. If she gives the go-ahead, having Cass around would definitely be a bonus!

By the way, how much do you know about Watchers? I know there's the whole Hsu's-On-The-Watcher-Warpath thing, but there are some "good" Watchers around, right?

LOL! You have a good teacher in Hsu!mun, she is the reason I picked up Cassandra in the first place, and she helped me find the pup - along with a couple of others who tirelessly answered my myriads of questions of the time, etc. I'd never even seen an episode (now have seen every episode and have the whole series including Raven!).

Re the time? Cass is the oldest female immortal (known). She is about 3,500 years old, according to her own admission she was alive through the Bronze Age, so that makes her as having come to existance approx 1,500BC - making her about 1550 years old by the time Quinn was born, so anything's possible.

I'll leave it up to you and Hsu!un to decide - I don't want to interfere in any stories she has lined up with people. Have fun and good luck with it all!

I watched the series aaaaages ago and saw Endgame in theaters, but I barely remember any of it (except that Duncan was quite the hottie).

As far as Cass, that'd be great if she were Quinn's Teacher. I'm just not sure if she's already teaching Hsu at the same time. Can't be in two places at once & all that. Quinn says I'm splitting hairs. ::eyeroll::

Ah, OK, you're not famiiar with his backstory. Cassandra found him and knowing he was pre-immortal and raised him as her son. He saw her killed when he was 10 when she wouldn't tell the chief where Hsu was, and he ran away, thinking she was dead. They didn't meet up again until a few years ago. He didn't know she was immortal and she didn't think he'd survived in the desert, as immortals do not become so (except for Kenny, the exception to prove the rule!) until they've 'matured'. So she didn't think he'd survived, making her lose faith in her own ability - the 'Vision'.

So it's possible to have her resume her revenge rampage in wherever, teach Quinn, then Quinn to go off on her own, and end up meeting Hsu. There's about 20 plus years between her and Hsu parting and him being killed, and then becoming immortal. Not sure what other plans you all have, but yeah, it's possible.

As far as the Horsemen go, I know Methos was one. What about Kronos and Korda?

The Four Horsemen were Kronos, Methos, Caspian and Silas. The actor who played Kronos in the HL series also played the character Korda in the off-shoot Raven (I think!) so he's a different character but same actor as Kronos. (Kronos, Caspian and Silas were all decapitated in the double episodes Comes a Horseman and Revelations 3:86 I think they were called (being lazy and not looking it all up!) Methos is the only surviving Horseman.

Kronos killed Cassandra when they raided and destroyed her village where she was being raised as a healer by the tribe's healer, Hijad. Methos took her back to the camp with them and kept her as a 'prize'. She ended up escaping after an indeterminable amount of time when she stabbed Kronos when he tried to claim her from Methos and Methos didn't stop him. She ended up featuring in a few episodes, and was given some 'magic' abilities, and called a witch.

So, kronos_endtime isn't the same Kronos? The reason why I ask is that Quinn's currently in a thread @ confession_nyc with Wes & Aidan. I think it's Aidan who mentions Kronos & Quinn's all like "if it's the same one I'm thinking of Cass'll have my head..."

Kronos is Kronos, and Korda is Korda - two very different immortals who just happen to be played by the same actor. Kronos is one of the Horsemen (even immortals can come back to life in this RP world, as Kronos was beheaded by Methos!) and has the large scar across his eye. Korda doesn't have the scar. Kronos is a megalomaniac sociopath, Korda is very different. As far as I know there's only one Korda around and doesn't RP much, but there are/were at least a couple of Kronos (angry_adolescent and kronos_endtime are two I can think off off the cuff,) and at least 3 Methos.

The Horsemen's treatment of Cassandra is canon - as is the death of Kronos, Caspian and Silas, and of Cassandra not taking Methos' head, but walking away instead, leaving him alive. Whether it was because of Duncan asking her not to kill Methos, or what it's not really made clear, but basically my Cassandra saw that as the end to the revengeful stage of her life as the other 3 were dead, and there's all sorts of speculation as to what actually happened between Cass and Methos all those years/centuries/millenia ago.

So it would be fine for Quinn to feel that Cass would still be bent on revenge if they haven't seen each other for a long time!

I wasn't sure if Cass was still on the Horseman warpath, but Quinn's the uber respectful type. She felt that going anywhere near Kronos romantically speaking was somehow disrespectful to Cass. Haven't quite worked that one out. ::shrugs::

Speaking of Duncan, I watched Endgame last night & squeed Methos' appearance in that, and Quinn definitely thinks Duncan's a cutie, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Just the thought of anyone being 'romantically involved' with Kronos makes her blood run cold, even if she no longer is looking for revenge!!! LOL!! Unlike Methos he never changed from the way he was over 3,000 years ago! *g*

I think what really shocked her was that Aidan even suggested it... she didn't think he was that naive about Kronos and the type of person he is. She's now thinking the lad needs to be brought up to speed on just who and what he man is - just like Duncan was.
