Rather than request a smite from Hermes, which would only serve to escalate the situation, I've decided to post my own rant here.

To camelotmayfall,

You claim to believe in the Old Ways that hold that Motherhood is sacred, and yet you request msellemeg be smote/smited who is with child. I am shocked... livid... appalled at your behaviour. There is more to my headmate's situation than you realize. In Marguerite's time, single motherhood was considered only slightly better than being a whore, and she as well as the child will be treated accordingly by society. Her main concern is not herself. She is more concerned about her child, and of course, Erik. They have a history you know nothing about.

It isn't as though she is facing an easy future, either. Bearing a child in an age before modern medicine is risky at best. There is always a very real chance neither she nor the child might survive. In addition to that fear is the one that she may never see Erik again, who is the only man she has ever loved. On top of that you want to smite her as well! Isn't she going through enough without you adding to an already broken heart? And I'm the one up for "Most Tragic!"

Had I known the true scope of your nature, I would certainly have nominated you for "Favorite Villain."
